So as I type I am watching the news and it is a 100 degrees outside.
I have to find out if that is a record. Jenn and I wanted to take her mom to a free concert but it is outdoors. I don’t like feeing blah, which this weather always makes me feel blah.
After work I came home and cleaned a bit. I can’t go a day without cleaning, we all know that, then I took a nice cold bath and a nap. Lucy slept for about an hour too.
I made this really good iced tea, and I can’t wait for Jenn to try it. Last night I picked some lemons from the lemon tree and made some lemonade. We just sat swinging on our swing in the backyard, talking about our day. I am so at peace with even the simplest of things.
I got the confirmation to our vacation at the end of August. I can’t wait. It took me almost a month to plan it. And today I paid for it in full. Wait till Jen gets home, she, with all the crap at work is going to be so happy.
Peace to all who enter here .

So Today I got up at 5:30, went and worked 6-10 and then I was done with my day. Although my schedule changed 6 months ago, now in the summer I am really starting to enjoy my new hours. I feel fortunate and happy that I only work 22 hours and am able to do what I really enjoy in life. Working Monday 6-2 Tuesday 6-10, Wednesday 6-10 and Thursday 7-1. , and every week I have a three day weekend ! No Fridays EVER
Today I did tons of yard work, and I picked some things from my garden. Jenn and I have an organic garden and while it yeilds smaller fruits and veggies, the taste is so much better.
I have mint, cilantril, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, melons, 3 kinds of lettuce, strawberries, raspberries, basil, chives, potted lime plant and potted lemon plant. YUMMY !!
Then I went to a yoga class by myself. When Jenn got home we ate dinner, and then took Lucy to the park.
What a nice day. Happiness to all who enter here.
