Well it has been a very busy year for Jenn and I so here we go in case you missed it…Jenn along with working full time got a part time job at Ed’s. It has been almost a year that she has started and she enjoys the different atmosphere. We have taken advantage of the extra money and have been very busy with remodeling the interior of the house.I cut my hours in half and only work 22 hours. I feel so lucky to be able to afford to work part time. I have been overseeing all of the house remodeling, looking into foster care, and doing what my doctor asked me to do and that is take care of myself.All in all things have been going as planned. The interior to the house is all done, and as many of you saw during our holiday open house, Jenn and I are very pleased with the results. This year we will focus on the exterior.Foster care is looking , well how do I put this slow. The process is slow but in the year to come we hope to have a child in our life. It is something Jenn and I have wanted now for a couple of years and we hope soon that dream will come a reality.My last doctor visit I had some abnormal heart beats, some heavier regurgitaion was heard and at times I have had some swelling in my hands, but everything has been okay since I cut back my hours, and lost 15 pounds.Jenn and I are still going green and organic. The small and big changes that we made will continue through the new year and more to come …We finally took a vacation this year, it was enjoyed and I hope to get pictures up on both my picture sites flikr, and snapfish.The year to come we will be planning lots of mini vacations but also we will be going to Gautemala with Joel and his girlfriend. We hope to get a new driveway in.We hope to have a child.We will be planning a ceramony for us to take place around Christmas next year.Oh about christmas. Jenn and I had about 15 people over for Christmas. It was WONDERFUL!! GREAT FOOD AND A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL !!! Tonight we will have Kathy and Amber and my family except Connie and her family she is on vacation. Looking forward to another great time. I have been on vacation since December 20th and will return to work this Thursday ! YUCKO. This year has been filled with with ups and downs, but alll in all I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful partner, a loving family, and loyal and trustworthly friends. Life is actually great. I finally got done wrapping all the Christmas gifts last night. I also made homeade whole wheat pizza dough last night, and turned the dough into a veggie calzone. Oh it was really good. Watched a movie on the sofa with Jenn, and wrote out some bills too. Today I woke up feeling great. I slept enough, and put on a new sweater. I also went into work knowing that after today I would not have to go back into work until January 3rd ! Jenn and I are having about 15 people over for christmas eve. I already have the menu planned, and will do some prep work over the weekend. Jenn and I will bake on Sunday and on Monday it will be time for some fun. I will be serving Bully hill red wine, and Pomogranite cocktails. That should put everyone in the spirit. We will be playing mexican BINGO too . Christmas morning my mom will be making breakfast, and christmas dinner we will all be going to Connie’s house. I can’t wait for Jenn to open up her gifts. I have been wanting to tell her what I got her for the past week. It’s killing me. Temptation is everywhere this time of year. Let the festivities begin. NO WORK !!! TIME TO PLAY ! So today I got up, without getting enough sleep. I got ready to go to work, could not find a necklace I wanted to wear. Walked out to my car, realized it was freezing, snowing, and that I don’t like winter. I went to work and did not verbally or physically assualt anyone, the temptation was there. I think I went to a staff meeting, I remember sitting around a table with everyone I work with and talking going on. I got home around 12, shoveled, realized even more I really don’t like winter. When I got in my house I finished filling out and then mailed invitaions to a holiday open house. Jenn and I have remodeled and done so much to the house, why not show it off. So to those who read this, and others who don’t keep an eye on your mail. Then the rest of the afternoon was spent vacuuming, reading, lifting weights, and meditating. Dinner was fast, easy, and tasty (kale soup in a organic veggie broth) with organic sprout and whole wheat bread. The rest of tonight will consisits of dreading tomorrow, reading, writing out bills, and watching some crappy TV. Crappy TV on our new HD flat screen TV . Lifes like that, and tomorrow brings more of the same. Love to all who enter here !!
