Imagine if you will having the next 6 days off from work. Well that is what I am going to have off. I can’t wait. I bought some frames the other day and after painting my hallway about a month ago I will complete the makeover by finding the perfect place for these frames. I will alos have plenty of time to workout, try new recipes, read and watch some movies I have been wanting to watch. Jenn has three of the six days off and we already vowed one of those days will be spent in pj’s . Everything else in our lives is going well, foster care has been slow we had a 6 year old stay with us for a week while a family member was contacted. Next week we will have a 7 year old stay with us long term at least 5 months. So we take it day by day. We had a b-day party for Joel yesturday, good food, family, friends, who could ask for more. Happy b-day Joel ! The house is finally finished. all the remodeling, painting has finally come to an end and I only had one meltdown. This summer will be busy taking care of what we want to do to the outside. I can’t wait ! Peace to all who enter here.

I have not written in forever mainly because Jenn and I have been pretty low key. We have been doing some small projects around the house together and also some projects on our own. Jenn has been getting all of her school stuff together, and has also been shopping around for a refurbished computer. I have been learning how to knit from Amber’s grandma, taking an adult money management class. (Lots of good information on investing for the future, tax breaks, and saving money ideas ). Together we have painted our laundry room, cleaned and organized our basement, and have met with two local businesses on getting new windows this spring. This past year we did so much to the house that the only things I feel left to do are the driveway, replacing windows, and painting the livingroom. I hope to have these projects done by early summer so we can enjoy the house. We both love how everything so far has turned out. Jenn and I are also looking in attending auctions this summer and possibly buying another house, not to live in but as an investment. Joel was thinking of going in on the deal too. More on that to come in the months ahead. On saturday Jenn and I are meeting with our case worker and if all goes well we will have a five year old living with us by the end of Monday. This past Sunday my papi celebrated his 75th b-day , and yesturday marks 6 years Jackie has been dead. A time of joy and sadness. Life is what it is. I am alomost done reading the book the secret and I have talked about it so much with Jenn she too wants to read it when I am done. I have applied alot of what I have learned from the book to my life and have felt a positive wave in what my life is now. I was already in a good place but now I am more mindful of how life should be lived to reap all the benefits. Allowing myself to not go into the dark place and allowing negative feelings to wonder in my heart and mind has made me realize the power of attraction. You surround yourself with negativity thats what you get. A negative partner, negative friends, job, you name it you will attract it. Being in a good place before reading the book has only allowed to be in an even better place. So that is what life is all about !! Peace and love all who enter here
