There is a scene

There is a scene in the movie One True Thing, where Renee Zellwegger says ” I am not crazy there’s nothing wrong with me I am tired, thats all.”  ” I AM TIRED!!! ” Well that is how I feel I am tired. 

 
I had a long day, and I had a staff meeting wich always just sucks everything out of me. I leave those meetings wanting to go home, get some PJ’s on and go to bed. After I got home though I didn’t do that. What I did, despite being tired was my three mile walk away the pounds video, let the dogs out to play, and then we both went to take my parents to the airport. My mom and dad went to California to visit my sister Norma. So they are not going to be around for my b-day, mother’s day, Betty’s b-day, and Jenn’s b-day. It is a bit sad, but my sister needs them too. 

 

Tomorrow I have another long day, and I have Temoc and Xochitl in the evening. Which is fun for Lucy because he likes it when they are over. Thursday will be hell and then I am off until the 15th. I can’t wait. During my time off I am going to get my organic veggie and fruit garden going.

If your happy and you know it

Well today was a typical Monday. I got up with the intentions of just trying to go through the day without killing anyone, and I did it. I am not going to say I didn’t come close, but I took a deep breath and moved along. I was productive at work, and got more done than intended, and once home I got  I got a second wind and managed to fold a load of laundry that had been sitting in the dryer since yesturday, mow the lawn, water my porch plants, make dinner, and now I sit and write about my day and all its flaws and moments that make me want to clap my hands. After all isn’t that how the song goes. If your happy and you know clap your hands !! Well despite the Monday feel, and having three long days ahead of me,  I am happy.
