It would be nice to have more time to spend with Jenn. I remember this picture was taken at Pontillos on one of our casino trips with friends. It was a nice day. I can’t wait until we get some time off together in August !

So I had the day off and I woke up in one of my moods where I take alot on. I have my list. Damn that list. I write down everything I want to get done. I guess crossing hings off my list makes me feel good. I called some friends this morning. One is having relationship problems, and the other turned 37 today. Happy Birthday ! I ate a quick protien bar as I sat finishing my list, and then I got to work. I started by doing some yard work. It looked like it was going to rain so I wanted to get that out of the way. I weeded, swept the back porch and front porch. watered my potted plants, mowed my lawn, and worked my way inside. I moved my livingroom around. Vacuumed and dusted. Cleaned out my fridge, and rearranged some things in my kitchen. Wrote out some budgets, cleaned out my desk, looked through mail and then managed to work myself to the upstairs. I continued upstairs. Pretty much doing everything I did downstairs, and I also showered. Jenn got home shortly after I got out of the shower and we all helped to prepare and eat dinner. Now I am tired, have a headache, and not looking forward to my day tomorrow.
Back to work, and the beat goes on to the same ol same ol. at least I have next week to lookk forward to, I am off Tuesday and Wednesday. So until then…

… You just watered your flowers and garden last night and they look almost dead today. You have air conditioning and you still feel warm. Your dog has shed so much in the last few days that you could make a childs coat from the fur. You get the picture the last few days have been hot. Above 90 or close to i,t with high dew points and humidity. I have learned to love the hot weather. I wasn’t always a fan, but as time goes by winter is a season I do not look forward to like I used to and the summer heat is something I want more of. This weekend will continue to be hot. Jenn and I want to make a trip to the lake with Matty. Swim, read, walk and enjoy a picnic. Maybe Lucy will come too.
Tonight we have a sitter and Jenn and I have a nice date night planned. We are going out to dinner, going to a movie and then meeting my sister out for a drink. Hey maybe a little dancing too. In any case it is hot and I love it. The week went by fast ( which always makes me happy ). Today I managed to clean the house, write my sister a letter, touch base with some friends and take a nap.
Tom has the right idea, maybe I will get some rest too this weekend.
