waxing, weeding and touch up paint !!

So today was the first day of my vacation, and much was accomplished. I woke up a bit groggy, as my body tried waking me up several times between my usual hour of getting up at 5:30, then again every five or so minutes. This went on until about 7am, at which point I must have fallen alseep because then I awoke at 9:30. It was kind of sorta sleeping in, but not really. I am sure next Tuesday when it is time for me to go back to work I will have the opposite problem. I won’t be able to wake up ! 

 

Once I woke up I had some breakfast, played with Lucy, and dropped off Matty at pre -school. When I got back I cut the grass, weeded, trimmed some bushes in the back yard, picked some veggies, hung up a pretty turtle on my porch, swept my porch, watered my plants, vacuumed my car, washed it too. When I got home I waxed it and touched up the paint. I am beat and I still have a couple more things to do.

When Jenn got home we had dinner, then we had to drop off her car to get two new tires, oil change, and a fuel ingection cleaning. When all is said and done we would have put about $350 into it. Whay can’t it be free.

Then we went to Lowes to get some mums, and something to kill ivy. I have a bit growing on the side of the house. I need to get rid of it. So after we get her car I will b planting mums and Jenn will be spraying to kill the ivy !

Tomorrow we are going to the Great NY state fair ! Maybe I will post some pictures in the near future too. I took some really nice ones over the weekend at aparty we went to.
