It’s been awhile, and here is why …..

Last week I was sick and I am still suffereing the tail end of a nasty cold. The worst part is not being able to breath. Saturday for the most part Jenn was very kind and attentive to my needs. She took care of everything and I just rested, slept, and read most of the day in the bedroom. Sunday we went for a drive and she picked some golden delicious apples. Her favorite. I watched. Jenn is a good apple picker and should consider it should she ever wants to change careers. Monday it was back to work for the two fo us but we did not mind because we knew we were going to have the rest of the week off.

So we had Tuesday off and we relaxed, baked, and had a new diningroom table delivered. The diningroom looks great. It is a bigger table and since we like to have family and friends over it will be a nice change to have some extra elbow room. Wednesday we went to the mall and started christmas shopping. That is always a good idea, something we are always trying to get done at the last minute, (not this year). Today we are driving to the George Eastman house. Jenn’s mom gave us some tickets. Then we are going to have some dinner and head over to the Little for a movie. Not sure what movie or what we will be eating I am going to look on-line for all that when I am done here. Tomorrow we are letting Matty have two firends over along with his cousin’s Emily, Temoc, Xochitl. That should be fun. We are all set too for Halloween. All in all it has been a really nice peaceful week. Work sucks sometimes and it is nice to get away from it all and spend time with the people who matter the most and the people you love.
