So Jenn and I both have the day off. How great it was to sleep in and wake up next to her knowing we were off the entire day while most people were miserable at work.
Lucy was happy to see the both of us too, and Matty slept in we let him stay up an hour past his bed time.
Jenn and I awoke to the smell of fresh coffee and to a blanket of snow and cold weather. Life in upstate NY is weird and while I should be used to it I am not, just last week we were about 65 degrees now a week later it is snowy and 35 degrees. Weird Huh ??
Jenn brought in what was left on our porch. Flowers were dead, and stuff had to come in because of the snow. While she did that, I cleaned a bit and showered. I am only washing my hair every other day. I have heard so many times that it is better for your hair and so I am going to have an open mind and try it. In a few we will be heading to some shops to get some more christmas shopping out of the way, and then come home to a veggie stew I prepared this morning and left cooking in a crock pot, I should get some crusty french bread too while we are out.
Mr. Toms b-day is Thursday. He will be six and of course family and friends will be coming over, and we all can not wait especailly Matty, any excuse to fill treat bags for himself and his cousins makes him a very happy little boy.
