Well this past weekend was a really good weekend for a couple of reasons. I had a really nice visit from an old friend, it didn’t snow, I had two really good nights sleep, and Jenn and I went to see the movie Gran Torino. Which has surpassed any of my other favorite movies by far. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, that movie !!! I actully would enjoy seeing it again.
Also the fact that I was able to get some good sleep was good. It seems like the past year I have had more trouble sleeping and I am not sure why. It is probably something I should talk to my doctor about, however I really do not want to take any pills for my problem. I tried different things, like, lowering the heat before bed, making the room really dark, and wearing a sleep mask. Sometimes things work, or work for awhile and then I have to try something new. I hope this year I can get to the root of the problem. We will see….
Jenn and I were also very happy it did not snow. Its only January and we already are looking forward to the warmer months ahead. We have even started looking at different cabins near Canandagua lake. We loved it there last year and want to go back. A smilie on my face as I remember the time spent there last year.
Today Obama will be sworn into office and I am looking forward to watching all of the events. I am taping everything then wacthing it this evening with Jenn.
We might even ccelebrate with an adult drink !!!
