Time passes by so quickly and I wonder where did winter go, did I see fall ? This year I have been in more of a winter funk than usual and I need spring to be here. I need to feel the warmth of the sun and look out my window and see my hard work making me happy, flowers everywhere. Alive and bursting with color.
The smell of fresh cut grass and people passing by wishing me well and saying a friendly hello. The earth feels more alive in the warmer months then in the bitter cold.
Where has winter gone ? when will spring be here ?

So this past weekend was busy I worked everyday. I am used to having three day weekends, it really wasn’t too bad. I just get tired, and my sleep gets a bit messed up but this Wednesday I have the day off and I plan on sleeping in and doing something fun. My mom and papi are in California visiting my sister Norma. They will be there for another two weeks. In the meantime I am keeping an eye on things at their house. Joel is also on vacation with his girlfriend and will be gone until the 7th of May. So Jenn and I are now covering for him at Ed’s. I don’t mind sucking it up and working weekends and covering at Ed’s because I know I will be taking a long well deserved vacation in August. I can’t wait.

So I got this new camera a few months ago. I love to take pictures, but take them to hang onto memories. The picture below was me trying to figure out if I had taken the flash off. I hadn’t. I still can’t figure it out, so the flash will stay on. I sometimes feel like I should have been born when things like computers or digital cameras didn’t exsist. I have a hard time keeping up with all the new technology. Simplicity is happiness to me, but I still like to take pictures even if I can’t figure out the camera.
