Life is short

So I have had a rough couple of weeks. My aunt died a few weeks ago and that was hard. We all knew she was dying, but when someone you love die it is a very hard thing to go through. Life just doesn’t stop so you can grieve it goes on and you have to cope as best as you can. My father was at Strong Hospital too. He has been very sick. He has scaring og the lungs and COPD. He was put on steroids, but they are not working. So yesterday the doctor put him on another med to try ( we hope) to make the steroids work. However if in three weeks there is no change then his doctor will take him off both meds and he will just be on oxygen. In the long run his doctor said these meds can do more hard then good, and he was just supposed to be on these meds to get stabilized. We will pray for him and hope that there is a difference.
Going through all this is forcing me to go through a transition too. I have thought about my mortality and those of the people I love. What I realized is that it is a very hard process to know a loved one is dying or gone.
In the end I guess we just have to make the most of life and live it to the fullist. Be kind to everyone, love those that love us. Life is really too short, so we have to make the most of it .
