And thats a wrap

So the week has come to a silent close. All is calm.

Tomorrow I am still off form LAI and from Ed’s so I plan on getting some good deals at the mall and some of my other favorite stores.

This past week was a good week. Christmas is over and we survived it. Now Jenn and I can get back some what of a life for the last six weeks or so all of our spare time was spent shopping, wrapping, then cooking and some baking. It can really take a toll on someone. It all went well, everyone was happy and in the end that is what matters.

A new year is almost here. Peace to all who enter here.

Getting ready

So today has been a rather busy day. I slept in a bit but as everyone knows we are covering for Joel and so here I am at Ed’s and will be here until 5pm, not a big deal I did everything I had to do and now I can relax a bit.

Tonight I have to shop. Yes the eve before Christmas eve. How bad is that going to suck, once that is done Jenn and I can rest easy and just relax until tomorrow. Tomorrow will be fun and I am making a promise to Jenn that I will NOT be stressing out ! I will not get annoyed that everything is not perfect. I know she gets the brunt of all my frustrations. Which makes her an angel, and that is why she is the love of my life. There is balance with the two of us. So tomorrow I will be merry and calm. ( I hope ) !!!

Some good news it didn’t freaken snow last night !! fianlly one day without shoveling. I think I will tast test some cocktails tonight that I plan on serving tomorrow. Now thats a good idea.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow …

So Jen and I both have the day off today and it feels great. Jen and I both slept in and woke up to falling snow and you know what we didn’t care.

We instead all piled inot the bed and had Lucy join us too, then we just talked about what we were going to do today, and about how excited we were with the upcoming holidays. We had a nice warm breakast, then we went outside for a snow ball fight and to shovel the driveway. Lucy would run after the snowballs then tried to eat then. There was a moment in it all when I stoped and thought to myself life is good, and I am very lucky to live the life I have.

Tonight Jen and I are having a dinner party. Norm’s b-day was on Monday and so we are having him over for dinner, along with Connie, and my parents. Baked ziti, tossed salad, and angel food cake with a mix of different berries will be served and I can not wait because my stomach is startng to rumble.

Maybe some uno, then its back to reality that all days can not be perfect day because we have to go back to work tomorrow.

Until tomorrow let it snow, since we have no place to go !
