So today I Jenn and I slep in a bit, 8:30, if that is sleeping in. Jenn went on her appointment and I went on mine, When we got home we did some cleaning, had some lunch, then I laind outside for a bit to get my vitamin D. The warmth of the sun felt great. I read a little too really. I  just started reading ‘Spirituality Without Religion”, written by John Tomikel. So far so good. After reading, clening, and lunch, my father and I went to Sarah’s to look and get some mums. My father enjoys going to garden centers, like me and we can look, ponder and talk about all the possibilities. Its nice, plus I enjoy spending time with my dad. Soon we will be leaving for dinner and shopping. Oh our appointments went well. My eyesight is fine, and Jenn is well too. She even on HER OWN asked the doctor to help her quit smoking so she was prescribed chantix . We will see how that goes, more on that obstacle later.

So The cold nights and warm sunny days got me and Jenn in the mood to decorate. Fall and spring are our favorite seasons. We were born in the spring but love the fall just the same. Last night we spent what was way too much money on decorating the outside of the house. Lots of colorful mums, woven baskets, corn stalks, pumpkins, and indian corn was purchased. Today after I got out of work I spent two hours tying it all together and another two hours going getting things stored in my attic for the inside of the house. Over the last 10 years or so I have collected many cute whimsical items, pillows, frames, and throws. Last year we also purchased some tart burners fall themed from the yankee candle store. Last night at one of our stops I picked up some really great smelling tarts, and today the house looked and smelled wonderful. I think its all worth it because its really nice to come home to after a long day, and we can have all these cute things surround us through Thanksgiving. I hope to post some pictures soon.

Tomorrow Jenn and I are both off but set some appointments up that we have had no time for or have been putting off. I need to get my eyes checked and Jenn is going for a complete physical, more on that after our appointemnts. Lucy also will be getting a bath and brush at the groomers. She does not like going but looks and smells great after its done. When we meet up in the afternoon we hope to go out to dinner, and birthday shop for my sister Jenny and mom. Thats our week so far. We are looking forward to the weekend as we have plans with good friends, and a family gathering for Jenny’s b-day.

So I love the fall, I just hate knowing that winter is around the corner and the days of waking up in the dark, getting out of work in the dark, and living in the dark and cold is already making me feel the winter blahs. I don’t like feeling blah, who does ? It’s just sometimes hard to snap out of it. One thing Jenn and I are looking forward to this winter is going to California to visit my sister Norma, and from there we will be driving to Las Vegas. We will be finalizing everything by the end of December.

Work has been hell. Julie is at her tentitive house, Sue got bumped up to acting manager, and I somehow got bumped up to acting assistant. It really is mindless. everything I have to do though is a pain in my ass because Of all the appontiments, and the phone. It just never stops ringing. I really should not care regardless of what is going on I still am only working 24 hours and that is it !!

Jenn and I are getting new carpet upstairs this week on Tuesday, so Sunday we will be painting the hall and be hanging up new frames we got last week at Marshalls. So that is something to look forward to.

We are facing a jam packed weekend, and I can hardley wait !!
